Special City Council Meeting - Goal Setting
On Monday at 5:30 pm, the City Council will hold a special meeting at Prairie Center to finalize the discussions around Council goal setting.
City Council Meeting
The City Council will also meet on Monday at 7 pm at Prairie Center for its regular meeting. This meeting has no items on the main agenda, with all the items put on the consent agenda. However, the Council will be conducting a swearing in ceremony for the new Fire Chief, James McCoy.

New charges this month bring the total cost of owning our own fire department up to $17,577,225.34 - which would have paid for more than 12 years of fire service from our contract providers.
Touch-a-Truck
The Otsego Touch a Truck event will be held at Prairie Park on Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. The event is free for all ages, and includes trucks from multiple professions, including city vehicles. There is also food available at the food trucks.
To help make the event accessible to everyone, a sensory-friendly time will be held from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm with no horns or sirens for visitors with sensory sensitivities.
Public Safety Commission Meeting
The Public Safety Commission would normally meet on Tuesday. However, due to the Touch-a-Truck event, the Commission will be meeting on Thursday at 6:30 pm at Prairie Center, instead.
